Refund Policy

Refunds, in plain terms

Effective October 15, 2026

On sungto.com you can write song lyrics now; hearing a finished song and buying songs there is coming soon. Today, finished songs are made and bought in the Sungto iPhone app. Web accounts, sign-in and lyrics drafts work as described below; the sections about website purchases and refunds describe how buying will work once it opens, and until then they do not apply to anyone.

Sungto songs are sold in two places — on the sungto.com website and in the Sungto iPhone app — and each has its own seller and its own refunds. This page covers both, starting with the website. Sungto is operated by WeThank Technologies FZE, United Arab Emirates; our registered company details are on the Support page.

Songs bought on sungto.com

Who you buy from

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders placed on our website. Paddle takes the payment and sends your receipt, and a refund is paid by Paddle to the payment method you used.

What can be refunded

A pack is refundable for 14 days if no song was generated from it. In other words, you can ask for a full refund of a song pack within 14 days of the purchase, as long as none of its songs has been used. That applies to the whole pack: once one song has been generated from a pack of three or six, the pack is no longer refundable.

If your account holds more than one pack, songs are counted against the pack you bought first.

What can't be refunded

A song is used when you press Generate. That asks us to start making the song straight away, and it is made for you alone, so once a song has been generated from a pack, that pack can't be refunded. The song maker tells you this before you pay.

Writing and rewriting the lyrics doesn't use a song, so you can read the lyrics before you decide.

If a song fails

If a song fails to generate, you don't need a refund: the song goes back to your balance automatically, and you can try again.

How to ask

Email support@sungto.com with the order number from your receipt and the email address you signed in to Sungto with. We check that the pack is unused and ask Paddle to refund it. The money goes back to the payment method you used, including any tax you paid. You can also contact Paddle about an order, using the link in the receipt Paddle emailed you.

After a refund

Your web account has one balance of songs, whichever packs they came from. When a pack is refunded, up to that pack's number of songs are removed from the balance, together with the lyric drafts that came with the pack. Songs that were already made stay as they are.

While a refund is waiting to be approved, the songs it covers are set aside and can't be used. If the refund isn't approved, they are put back. If a song was being made when the refund was asked for and it then fails, the song that would have gone back to your balance goes with the refund instead.

Refunds are counted against the Google or Apple sign-in that made the purchase. After a second refunded purchase on the same sign-in, we stop offering purchases to it. That stays so if the web account is deleted and a new one is made with the same sign-in; the Privacy Policy explains what we keep in order to do this.

Payment disputes

If you don't recognise a charge, or think one is wrong, please write to us first — we can usually sort it out quickly. If a payment is disputed with a bank or card issuer (a chargeback), songs are removed from the account's balance in the same way as after a refund — up to the number in that pack — and we stop offering purchases to that account and to the sign-in behind it. If we are only warned that a dispute is likely, we stop offering purchases in the same way, but nothing is removed. In both cases, songs that were already made are left as they are.

If a dispute or a warning is later withdrawn or settled, email us and we'll look at the account again.

Deleting your account

Deleting a web account gives up any songs you bought and haven't used; they aren't refunded automatically. If a pack is still refundable, ask for the refund before you delete the account.

Your legal rights

This policy is in addition to the rights you have under the consumer law of the country you live in, and nothing in it takes those away. If you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you usually have 14 days to change your mind about something bought online; for a song, that right ends once the song has been generated at your request.

Songs bought in the iPhone app

Songs bought in the Sungto iPhone app are sold through Apple's In-App Purchase, so Apple handles refunds. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We can't see your payment details or issue those refunds ourselves.

Web and app purchases are separate

A pack bought on sungto.com is used on sungto.com, and a pack bought in the iPhone app is used in the app. We can't move songs between the two, and each refund is handled by the seller it was bought from.
