The short version, written out fully

These terms cover your use of the Sungto app and sungto.com, operated by WeThank Technologies FZE, United Arab Emirates (registered company details are on the Support page). By using Sungto, you agree to them.

What Sungto is

Sungto turns a few details you give us about someone — their name, your relationship, an occasion, a few highlights — into an original song written and performed for them, with a share link and a download. That's the product.

Using Sungto

No sign-up is required. The app gives you one free song per device, and additional songs are sold as consumable packs (1, 3, or 6 songs) through Apple's In-App Purchase — one-time purchases, never a subscription, never auto-renewing.

If you delete and reinstall the app while signed into the same iCloud account, we do our best to restore your existing songs and remaining credits automatically.

Purchases & refunds

All payments are processed by Apple, under Apple's own terms. Refunds are handled by Apple — see reportaproblem.apple.com. We don't have access to your payment details and can't process refunds directly.

What you can create

Sungto is for real, personal gifts — a song for someone you know. You're responsible for what you type in:

Only submit details about a real person with a genuine connection to you, or a fictional scenario you're comfortable being generated as a song.
Don't use Sungto to create content that's illegal, hateful, harassing, or intended to embarrass or harm someone.
We may decline to generate, or remove, content that violates this — including through automated checks before a song is created.

Your song

The song we generate for you is yours to keep, play, download, and share. We don't reuse the personal details of your song (the recipient's name, your highlights, etc.) for any other purpose, and we don't feature real users' songs anywhere in the app or on this site — the example songs shown in the app and on this site are entirely fictional, written by our team to show what's possible.

Sharing a song

Every song gets a private, unguessable link so you can send it outside the app. Anyone with that link can listen — sharing it further is between you and whoever you send it to. Don't share a link to a song about someone without their knowledge if it contains something they wouldn't want made public.

Songs aren't stored forever

A song and its data stay on our systems for 30 days, then they're deleted. Sungto isn't a permanent archive — if you want to keep a song, download it or save its share link.

Service availability

We aim to keep Sungto reliable, but we don't guarantee it will always be available, error-free, or that any particular song generation will succeed on the first try. Features, pricing, and these terms may change — we'll update the date at the top when they do.

No warranty, limited liability

Sungto is provided "as is." To the extent allowed by law, we're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app — including a song not turning out how you imagined, or a link you shared reaching someone you didn't intend. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Ending your use

You can stop using Sungto at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend or end access for anyone who violates these terms, particularly the acceptable-use section above.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
