About Sungto

Sungto makes personalized songs with AI. Give it someone's name and a few details only you would know. It writes the lyrics and you read and change them. In the iPhone app a finished, fully sung song arrives in about two minutes and you can download or share it; in a web browser you can write the lyrics now, and hearing songs on the web is coming soon. It works in 8 languages: English, Spanish, Hindi, Korean, German, French, Japanese and Portuguese, each with its own genres. Songs cost $9.99, or less in packs, with no subscription. The first song is free in the iPhone app.

The short version

How a song is made

  • You give Sungto a name, who they are to you and up to five details.
  • The lyrics, the music and the voice are all generated by AI, so no person sings or records your song.
  • The lyrics are checked before you see them, and nothing is sung until you approve them.
  • Names are respelled for the singer in the language of the song, so they are sung correctly.

Your privacy

  • Songs about real people are not made public. Only people you send a share link to can play a song.
  • Share pages are kept out of search engines. A song and its details are deleted automatically after 30 days.
  • What you type is sent to the AI services that write the lyrics and compose the music. The Privacy Policy lists them.
